Cinnebarre Thornton

Cinnebarre ThorntonCinnebarre Thornton town center is the best place in the city for those looking to grab something to eat and drink while at the same time enjoying a nice movie.

The Thornton-based Cinnebarre is one of the two Regal Cinemas-operated movie theaters in Colorado, with the other one located in Louisville. If you are looking to get away to the suburbs and enjoy movies, booze, and food at the same time, this is the place that should be high on your list. In case you haven’t noticed, the ambiance at Cinnebarre will make you feel like watching a movie in your own house, except that you will have a wide variety of dishes to choose from and you will also have to put on some clothes and shoes.

Cinnebarre Thornton is a single-space movie theater that doubles as a restaurant and beer & wine bar, which obviously means that it’s no place for people under the age of 18. However, this doesn’t mean that there is no place for kids here, but they must be in the company of an adult aged at least 21. The theater doesn’t allow children of age 3 and below, but if you must bring them, you will have to wait until Cry Baby Day.

Cry Baby Day, as the name suggests, is a special event that allows parents with toddlers under the age of 3 to bring them along to the movies, but this only happens on each and every Tuesday of every week. Even though you are allowed to bring your kids to the show, it doesn’t mean that you will be watching children films, rather, the screens will still show you the regular movies. The idea behind Cry Baby Day is that parents can have at least one day of the week where they don’t need to arrange for childcare at home while they go to catch a movie at the theater.

There are no charges for all kids under the age of 3 years and during the movie, the lights are usually left a little brighter and the sound is not so loud as compared to normal days. If you have kids under the age of 3, feel free to bring them along and try watching a movie with other screaming toddlers around you. It’s fun, trust me!

The Cinnebarre building isn’t small by any measure and it has a massive lobby space and walls are plastered with different movie posters on your way to a small ticket booth. The ticket prices here are affordable, with some days getting ticket specials as well.

How the food and drinks part works

As pointed out, Cinnebarre Thornton is the place you want to be if you want to enjoy the latest movies alongside some food and a drink of your choice. Once you have taken your ticket from the booth, go to the theater that is showing the movie of your choice and grab a seat. Right in front of the seats, you will see a sturdy bench-like table that is full of menus for you. The menus are also accompanied by pens and ordering pads.

Go through the menu and once your eyes land on something that your mouth really wants to taste, fill out the order card and place it on one of the rails resting above the tablespace. All these will be happening while the previews are running. The servers will then come for the orders as they greet everyone, and then zoom off to take care of the said orders. If your order has alcoholic drinks on the list, the server will request for your ID, so make sure you bring it if you want to grab one or two beers. It takes about 15-25 minutes and the server will be back with your order, so you’ll have to be a little patient.

When compared to other movie theaters, Cinnebarre is quite different, offering customers real food and a wide range of alcoholic drinks, including a variety of expensive wines. If you have dietary restrictions, be sure to ask about the gluten-free menu options that include things like pizza, salsa, chips and sandwiches.
